Fat Burning Fruits and Vegetables
Full of Fibre, natural carbohydrates, Vitamin C, and much needed potassium many fruits and vegetables are great fat burning diet foods. Of course some are better than others, having a diet meal plan that is high in both fruits and vegetables can help you lose weight.
As discussed earlier foods high in soluble fibre are great fat burning foods as they take longer to digest and keep you feeling full longer. Many of these foods are also high in Vitamin C. Vitamin C is required in the creation of carnitine, a compound your body produces in order to help convert fat into energy. Citrus fruits such as oranges, limes, lemons, and grapefruit are all high in Vitamin C as well as soluble fibre. Vegetables that are great for a fat burning diet are broccoli, cabbage, celery, spinach, and swish chard to name a few, all can be good choices for your diet meal plans.
Many fruits specifically uncooked berries contain natural carbohydrates such as fructose which satisfies the craving for sweets. In their uncooked form the fructose found in berries is not as highly absorbed by the body. Berries are also a good source of potassium which can assist the body in blood pressure control. Some examples of berries that are good fat burning foods are blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries.
